Child + Pet Care

The kind of care that lets you leave without worrying.

I've spent years caring for babies, kids, dogs, and homes for families in my community. What started as babysitting when I was younger grew into long-term relationships, repeat clients, and a kind of work I still genuinely enjoy.

Even as I begin my full-time science career, I plan to continue offering select care when my schedule allows.

Care is personal.

Letting someone into your home — and trusting them with your child or pet — is a big deal. I know that.

I try to make the experience easy from the beginning: clear communication, showing up when I say I will, asking the questions I need to ask, following routines, and sending an update so you aren't left wondering how things are going.

My goal is simple: for you to come home feeling like everything was in good hands.

Reading together during an afternoon of childcare
Routines, storytime, and steady attention.
A dog on a coastal walk during a pet-sitting visit
Walks, feedings, meds, and photo updates.
Building a block tower with a toddler at a kitchen table
Quiet play, on their schedule.
Three children running and playing together on a grassy lawn in late-afternoon light
Outside, moving, having fun.
A golden retriever sitting on a coastal path during a walk
Long walks for the dogs who need them.
A cat asleep on a blanket by a sunny window
Cats, feedings, and undisturbed naps.

Babies + kids

Experienced care from baby stage through pre-teen.

I've worked with children for nearly a decade, including infants, toddlers, school-age kids, and pre-teens. Depending on my current availability, care may include:

  • Babysitting
  • Date-night / evening care
  • Weekend care
  • Nanny support
  • Drop-in or occasional care
  • Recurring arrangements when scheduling works

I'm comfortable learning each family's routines rather than assuming every household works the same way.

Dogs + pets

Yes, the big dogs too.

I've spent years building a dog-sitting and pet-care clientele and am comfortable with dogs across a wide range of breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels.

I genuinely enjoy getting to know an animal's routine — who needs a long walk, who needs patience, who has a very specific dinner ritual, and who believes the entire couch belongs to them.

The small things are the whole thing.

Clear communication

I'll make sure we are on the same page about timing, routines, contacts, and anything important before you leave.

Respect for your routine

Kids and pets usually do best when their normal rhythm stays normal. I follow the instructions you give me.

Updates

I'm happy to send a quick photo or message so you know how things are going.

Good judgment

If something feels off, I pay attention, communicate, and handle the situation thoughtfully.

Reliability

If I commit to being there, I plan around being there.

Current care availability

My availability changes as I balance professional opportunities and existing clients. This is the best place to see the current picture.
